What makes this guitar special: This is a unique fretless bass that has seen a little in the way of modifications and a lot of love. The neck and fingerboard are in great shape outside of a little cosmetic wear and are much more stable than the standard wood and truss rod construction. In addition, the slim graphite neck is super smooth and plays easily from the nut to the cutaway. The body has been refinished in a medium brown color that shows the natural figuring of the tone wood is it made with. The EMG pickups are slightly hotter than standard pickups more commonly used in fretless basses, but provide a little edge and a lot of classic jazzy sound.
Condition: This bass is in good condition overall. It does have various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches, but still looks good overall. The body has been refinished and there is a small piece missing from the neck pocket as well as a small gouge on the back, both of which have been finished over. There are a few small cracks in the neck pocket but are stable. The tone control does function, but could use a different cap value to get a more noticeable effect. The fingerboard shows light to mild wear but is just surface wear and is not causing any divots in the board.
Body: Double cutaway contoured body in refinished natural brown. Black knurled control knobs. Fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Black hardware.
Neck: D shape graphite neck and composite fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Chrome open-gear tuning machines. 1 ½” nut width.
Electronics: EMG split single-coil and EMG J-style pickups. 2 x volume, 1 x tone control.

Playability/Sound: The slim graphite neck is exceptionally smooth, making it very easy to move around. The pickups have a little extra bite for a fretless, but still impart a good amount of classic jazzy sound.
